2008 Schedule

Technical Walk-through

Dillard Center has scheduled Tuesday, January 22 from 9:00 until 11:00 AM as an opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with their stage, sound and lighting system. This training is very important for you, your Stage Manager, Light Board Operator, and your Sound Board Operator to attend. Avoid possible unpleasant surprises by taking advantage of this invitation.

Directions to Dillard

Dillard is located off Sunrise Boulevard near I95 in Fort Lauderdale. From Sunrise turn NORTH on NW 27th Avenue. The school will be on the right within two blocks.

The acting area at Dillard is 28' deep and 36' wide

The stage lights will be set for 9 general acting areas with a warm and cool general wash available.

Lights will be controlled by Submasters.

Do not plan on using the extended apron. It will not be lit.

The only microphones used on stage will be overhead mics. There will no floor mics.

The Light and Sound Booths are not on the same floor. Separate crews are necessary.

The Stage Manager should call the show from the Sound Booth. An Assistant Stage Manager should assume the backstage duties.

"Boxes" will be located off stage Right in the loading dock area which is very close to the stage.
